Domaine Bonneau du Martray

No need for formal introductions to this domaine and their fantastic white wines. During our last tasting trip to Burgundy we had the chance to try some of those, allow me say, "giants" and spend some quality time with the emblematic Jean-Charles Le Bault de la Morinière.

Lunch, in company of Jean-Charles, followed in the restaurant Le Charlemagne, where the magnificent view of the vineyards from Pernand-Vergelesses and Cortons Charlemagne where the perfect scenario for lunch and guess what? More Cortons Charlemagne, older vintages, and a full immersion on Bonneau du Martray wines and the local terroir. The perfect start to the tasting trip.

Tasting notes of the wines will follow. (TC)
